Angel Rock is not part of a wildlife sanctuary or a protected area. It is a natural rock formation located 3 km from the mainland and 1.5 km from Pigeon Island Marine National Park. Please read these guidelines carefully before your trip.
⚠ Important Safety Notes
Angel Rock has no beach or resting area. You must jump directly from the boat into the water to snorkel.
Always check your snorkeling equipment carefully before entering the water.
Strong currents are common – swimming fins are essential for survival.
If you are not a confident swimmer, you must:
Wear a life jacket
Wear swimming fins
Hire a snorkeling guide for safety
🚫 Health Restrictions
This activity is not suitable for:
People with heart conditions
People with back pain
Anyone with other serious medical issues
🌊 Swimming Conditions
There is no place to step or rest on Angel Rock – snorkeling is entirely at your own risk.
Stay close to your guide and follow instructions at all times.

🪜 Returning to the Boat
Once you finish snorkeling, use the ladder provided to climb back onto the boat safely.
